Good morning, Jack, Carlos and I just got off the phone with our colleague who referred Q- D to us and works with Q-D on programs all over the country. Her feedback from Quest from the event was exemplary. She cited that when seated for dinner, they felt like they were only table there – service was seamless and attentive. “Drinks just showed up.” They said that every dish perfectly selected in advance, and beautifully presented and delicious. They felt the flow of the evening worked really well and were grateful for the rain back-up indoors and the rooftop space – it worked perfectly. This is an amazing event space in Flatiron/ Midtown area. I had a company cocktail style event for 300 guests as well as a conference classroom style event for 250 guests and everyone was very pleased! The food was fresh and served quickly. The events team were awesome and responded to any questions I had. The A/V , projectors, TV screens , were top of the line. I really enjoyed the outdoor / indoor experience.

Hi Jack,

Finally back in the office and able to sit down to write you a proper thank you email.

From the moment you and I started planning the dinner for MEF, every single email of mine loaded with questions was always answered on time. I also came by the venue twice to see you last minute, in between busy times for you, but you always made yourself graciously available to show me the set up for Hard Bar and the East Lounge. You also offered to help me work on the centerpieces with some of your ideas from past experiences.

Operations for the night of the event itself, were transferred in the very capable hands of Ms. Lindsey.

In the afternoon before the event, I picked up the phone to call her about checking on the cake that had been delivered to the venue: I knew right there and then than I would be cruising that night! Lindsey assured me the cake was delivered, she texted me a picture of it to make sure I was at ease. I asked about our step and repeat banner, which I thought I would have to set up on my own, but no.....her team had already done so for me AND set up the red carpet delivered earlier too 🙂

Upon arriving at the venue a few hours before start time, I got to meet the excellent team in charge: Lindsey, the wait staff and this really nice guy who kept on popping in and out with great ideas on what to do with the bread baskets, how to set up LED lights in the room, he even brought in lights for our photographer to use on the step and repeat.... I am thinking to myself "wow, this guy knows everything about anything! I wonder what his role is in this whole operation?!" and so I introduced myself to… Mr John!

John even walked me downstairs at the end of the night to help me catch a cab because I had my hands full with many bags ~ such a gentleman!

In a few words: everything was so perfectly executed, all I had to do was to pose for pictures

Tables were tastefully set up, food was delicious ( unfortunately I didn’t get to taste it~ even though I was served a dish~ it but I asked the guests who told me so), the bartenders were on it with serving alcohol and making sure they drinks were flowing, the staff was very attentive. Lindsey and John were my right hands and without them (and your guidance from behind the scenes), the MEF dinner event would have not happened the way it did: flawlessly

This was my first time finally booking an event with 230Fifth: I am thrilled to share with you that it certainly won’t be the last!
